Kimley-Horn states that Oncor Electric Delivery is the electric provider for the site and that the development has been in frequent contact with Oncor. Additional service information remains to be clarified.
Proposed / documentedThe EC Plan allows electrical substations, switchyards, transformers and associated electrical infrastructure throughout the property as needed to support the closed-campus employment center.
Proposed / documentedThe plan lists 84–112 gas-fired units at 12.5 MW each. Simple arithmetic implies approximately 1.05–1.40 GW of aggregate gas-generator nameplate capacity if all listed units are installed. This is not a statement of continuous output or final installed capacity.
Calculated from proposalAt the August 18 hearing, project representatives described approximately 700 MW of data-center load and roughly 1,040 MW of on-site generation. They also described initial operation as potentially isolated from the electric grid and said the generation is not intended for exporting or selling power.
